FAQ
Which Munchkin expansion after the base game?
Munchkin 2: Unnatural Axe for most groups: more races, more classes, more monsters, no new rules to learn. Then Munchkin 3 or 4 depending on whether you want more classes or Steeds.
Do the expansions need to be bought in order?
No. Each one needs only the base game. The numbers are just the release order.
Is Star Munchkin an expansion?
No. Star Munchkin, Munchkin Cthulhu, Munchkin Zombies and the other themed Munchkins are standalone games. You can shuffle them together, but each one plays on its own.
How many players?
3 to 6 with the base game alone. At 5 or 6, one or two expansions keep the decks from running thin.
Does Munchkin 7 work with the base game alone?
It does, but it is designed to mix at least two Munchkin games: it is a better third or fourth box than a first expansion.
