Which Everdell expansion after the base game?

Critters, cards and a big tree. Starling Games.

1-4 players (base) Workers / tableau About 40-80 min

The game

Already own Everdell? Five expansions plug into the valley, plus a thicket of collector upgrades and separate games. Here is what actually changes your game.

1-4 players with the base game. Bellfaire opens 5-6 players. Every expansion below needs the base game.

Collector upgrades are not expansions. Glimmergold, Freshwater and Trailblazers upgrade components of boxes you own. If your Pearlbrook or Spirecrest is already a deluxe printing, you may own that content already.
Farshore, Duo and Silverfrost are games, not expansions. They reuse the world, not your Everdell cards. They do not plug into the base game.
The Complete Collection is a bundle. It gathers the base game and expansions in deluxe form. Buying pieces you own twice is the classic Everdell trap.
