The game

Already own Marvel United? The line is built from core boxes. Expansions were sold for a specific core, even though heroes and villains can guest-star across all of them.

1-4 players with any core box (team modes reach more). Rise of the Black Panther, Spider-Verse, Guardians and Asgard were sold for the first core; the X-Men and Multiverse boxes have their own waves.

Match the expansion to its core first. Deadpool and the Blue and Gold team boxes belong to the X-Men wave. Maximum Carnage, World War Hulk, Civil War and Team Decks belong to Multiverse.

Heroes travel, modes do not always. You can play heroes from any box against most villains. Team-vs-team and the Civil War mode need their own boxes and rules.

Spider-Geddon is a core box. A standalone Spider-core with its own expansions wave, not a small expansion of the first game.

Can I mix heroes across boxes?
