The game

Already own Zombicide 2nd Edition? The line is campaigns and add-on packs that all hang off the modern base game. The only real trap is the huge 1st-edition back catalogue.

1-6 players, fully co-op. Every box below needs Zombicide 2nd Edition, not a Season box from the first edition.

First edition is a different shelf. The classic Season 1-3, Toxic City Mall and Angry Neighbours boxes predate this game. The upgrade kit lets their survivors and special zombies visit 2nd Edition, nothing more.

PariZ and Squid Game are the new wave. PariZ reached retail on 25 April 2025 and Zombicide: Squid Game on 7 August 2026, both for the 2nd Edition (CMON). Both are on shelves now.

Does the 2nd Edition work with 1st-edition boxes?

Not directly. The upgrade kit converts survivors, special zombies and companions from the old seasons; the old tiles and missions stay in their own game.

What is Urban Legends?

A pack of four abominations from urban legends. No campaign, just scarier specials.
